avail is designed for facilitators and parents to promote learning and independence for individuals with an intellectual, developmental disabilities or those who have cognitive related issues.

avail is used as an observational and auditory learning tool, this is completed through the use of individualised step-by-step multimedia instructions (e.g video/pictorial/text/audio prompts). The avail platform also enables facilitators or parents to assess and track learning. Our monitoring system allows carers to observe when tasks are completed from a distance.
The system works through an app download on a smart device, like an iPhone or table device and our website (http://www.availsupport.ie/).

avail can be used to teach everyday tasks, ranging from employment duties, independent living and self-management skills to social stories, and creating visual schedules.

avail supports research in the field on video modelling, which involved the learner watching the desired behaviour and then imitating the behaviour. Example this could of a person using a dishwasher, cooking, hygiene schedule, the options are task are endless, it can be adopted to the person’s ability and environment.

Customisable:
- Easy mode-easy to follow learner screen (only tasks displayed).
- Create folders for different categories e.g cooking, employment.
- Upload personal photographs and audio.
- Create personal rewards for completing task.
- Add already uploaded warning signs or take your own.

Other key features:
- Works with and without internet, so it can assist the person wherever they are.
- Tracks the user usage, how many times a task was completed.
- Stores all tasks, assessments, and evidence of learning on app and website.
- Ppersonal assessments and progress analysis which can be emailed and printed.
